Legendary rockers The Rolling Stones were installed Tuesday as early favourites to close next year's Glastonbury Festival, tickets for which sold out within hours of going on sale.
None of the acts will be announced until next year, but already rumours are rife as the world-famous English festival looks forward to its 40th anniversary.
William Hill bookmakers put Mick Jagger's men at 4/1 favourites for the headlining Sunday show while Coldplay and 1970s icon David Bowie have also been the subject of intense betting.
Other favourites to play include Irish veterans US, American soul/funk hero Prince and Sheffield indie-kings Arctic Monkeys.
Outside bets include a fully reunited Take That and Manchester superstars Oasis, despite their recent acrimonious split.
All of the 185-pound tickets for the event, which was first put on at the Worthy Farm site in 1970 by dairy farmer Michael Eavis, sold out within 12 hours of going on sale on Sunday.
Over 140,000 revelers attended the 2009 festival, which will be remembered for Michael Jackson's death, news of which filtered through the tented city on the eve of the event.
